It Depends: Rethinking Human Performance
Human performance is complex. In a world where easy answers are everywhere, the real advantage is better thinking.
Human performance is complex. In a world where easy answers are everywhere, the real advantage is better thinking.

As a mental performance and team culture consultant for over 20 years, I’ve learned that high performance isn’t built on hacks or easy answers. It’s built on understanding that people are complex, context matters, and what works isn’t universal. I help people and teams think better, perform better, and align how they think, act, and lead with what matters most—so they can achieve their goals and thrive when it matters.

I’m a Certified Mental Performance Consultant based in New York City who grew up competing in equestrian showjumping and fell into a lifelong fascination with studying human performance. For 20+ years, I’ve explored what helps people perform under pressure and how to make the science practical. Because it depends.
Build the mindset to perform or lead when it matters most. One-to-one performance mindset consulting for athletes, performing artists, and entrepreneurs navigating pressure, uncertainty, growth, and high-stakes performance.

Understand yourself. Unlock performance.
A focused, personalized deep dive into the mindset, habits, and patterns that shape how you perform. Complete some guided pre-work, then spend 90 minutes together uncovering what drives you, what gets in your way, and what you need to perform at your best. A 30-minute follow-up helps us reflect on insights you've applied.
Best for: When you are new to performance mindset work, navigating a specific challenge, or need to break through a performance block.

You bring the question. I bring the science, experience, and expertise.
Have a performance, mindset, or leadership question you've been thinking about? Tell me what's going on through a short questionnaire, and I'll record a personalized response walking you through how I think about it, what the science tells us, and what I'd consider in your situation.
Best for: When you want a nuanced, expert perspective—not another quick tip, generic piece of advice, or AI-generated answer.

Make sense of what happened. Learn from it. Move forward.
Sometimes the most valuable time to get coaching is after things don't go as planned. Whether it was a disappointing competition, missed opportunity, difficult audition, or performance worth exploring in-depth, we'll unpack what happened, compare it to times when things have gone well, and identify what you can learn.
Best for: When you need perspective on what happened and support for how to resiliently respond.
Make your audience think differently about performance. Engaging talks and thoughtful conversations on mindset, performance under pressure, leadership, culture, and what it really takes to think and perform better.

Bring the science of human performance to your audience.
I speak on human performance, mindset, leadership, culture, and what it takes to think and perform better when it matters most—making complex science practical, engaging, and relevant.

Let’s have a conversation worth thinking about.
I’m available as a podcast guest to explore the science and complexity of human performance, from mindset and self-talk to leadership, performance under pressure, and the questions we’re often too quick to answer.
Build the conditions for people and teams to perform at their best. Consulting for founders and leaders in sport, performing arts, and other high-performance environments who want to build teams that perform, adapt, and thrive.

Understand your culture. Know what to do next.
A thriving culture isn't a nice-to-have. I’ll help you understand your culture’s strengths, risks, and opportunities—and identify the actions that can build or sustain high performance.
Best for: Teams that want an evidence-based look at what's helping or hindering their culture and where to focus next.

Think through the challenge. Navigate what comes next.
Bring me a leadership situation you’re navigating—or preparing to navigate. I’ll offer an outside perspective, share what I’d pay attention to and why, and help you think through what comes next. We'll then reconnect during and/or after to debrief and refine your approach.
Best for: When you're navigating a complex leadership challenge and want an expert perspective to help you think it through.

Your team is unique. Your workshop should be too.
Too many team-building experiences are designed to be fun in the moment rather than useful when the team gets back to work. I design experiences around what your team actually needs—grounded in science, context, and real-world dynamics—with the goal of creating change that lasts beyond the session.
Best for: When your team needs more than a team-building activity—a purposeful experience designed to surface and change what’s getting in their way.
